BERLIN (Reuters) - The European Union's main centre-right alliance will nominate Ursula von der Leyen for a second term as European Commission president at a congress in March if she wants to continue in the post, a senior EU lawmaker told Reuters. Von der Leyen, a German Christian Democrat, has not yet said publicly whether she wants a second stint at the helm of the EU executive after her current term expires later this year. "The EPP will nominate Ursula von der Leyen as its lead candidate for the European elections at its European Congress on March 6 and 7," Caspary said, adding, "If that's what she wants." Being nominated as the EPP's lead candidate would mean von der Leyen would also be its nominee for Commission president. Caspary's comments add strength to the widespread assumption among diplomats and officials in Brussels that von der Leyen will seek and receive a second term as Commission president.

The billboards, erected overnight to launch a campaign for next June's European parliamentary election, depict Von der Leyen alongside Alex Soros, the son of liberal Hungarian-born financier George Soros, a perennial target of hostility from Orban's Fidesz Party. Soros is Jewish and some critics view the central role he plays in Fidesz propaganda as evidence of anti-Semitism, which Fidesz strongly denies. Vom testa obligatoriu și regulat personalul medical și vom asigura intervenția timpurie pentru susținerea personalului infectat; vom crea condiții de recuperare pentru prevenirea epuizării profesionale. Guvernul își va angaja răspunderea pe inițiative legislative și va adopta hotărâri de guvern pentru a implementa un pachet comprehensiv de susținere a populației și a economiei pe timp de criză. Vom testa obligatoriu și regulat personalul medical și vom asigura intervenția timpurie pentru susținerea personalului infectat; vom crea condiții de recuperare pentru prevenirea epuizării profesionale. Vom modifica componența și regulamentul de activitate a Consiliului Național al Monumentelor Istorice pentru a asigura activitatea transparentă și eficientă a acestuia. Vom îmbunătăți legislația în vederea transparentizării modului de finanțare a partidelor și a campaniilor electorale, inclusiv modificarea Codului penal în vederea înăspririi pedepselor pentru finanțarea ilegală a partidelor și a campaniilor electorale.

Academia de Studii Economice din Moldova, în colaborare cu European University Continuing Education Network (EUCEN), Belgia, organizează al 2-lea Workshop de țară, focusat pe promovarea culturii Învățământului pe tot Parcursul Vieții (ÎPV) în Moldova, dar și pe consolidarea capacităților universităților din Moldova în dezvoltarea serviciilor de ÎPV. Evenimentul este organizat în cadrul proiectului Towards European University Lifelong Learning Model in Moldova/COMPASS. Proiectul COMPASS, gestionat de către ASEM, are ca obiectiv să contribuie la integrarea mai profundă a Moldovei în EEA (European Education Area), prin dezvoltarea în Republica Moldova a modelului universitar de învățare pe tot parcursul vieții. Proiectul COMPASS este co-finanțat de către Comisia Europeană prin intermediul programului ERASMUS+, număr de referință: 597889-EPP-1-2018-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP. Patrimoniul științific al USM s-a îmbogățit cu peste 90 de publicații pe teme privind drepturile omuluiÎn ajunul Zilei Internaționale a Drepturilor Omului, Universitatea de Stat din Moldova a intrat în posesia a 93 de publicații științifice axate pe problematica drepturilor omului, în sumă totală de 158 999 de lei, fapt care îmbogățește considerabil patrimoniul științific al Universității de Stat din Moldova și lărgește substanțial oportunitățile segmentului de cercetare și inovare. Publicațiile au fost achiziționate cu suportul proiectului Human Rights Law for Universities of Ukraine and Moldova (HRLAW), număr de referință 573861-EPP-1-2016-1-EE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP/Legislația Europeană privind Drepturile Omului pentru universitățile din Ucraina și Moldova, din cadrul programului european ERASMUS+, coordonat la nivel instituțional de către prorectorul pentru activitatea studențească, dr. hab. Publicațiile, axate pe legislația europeană privind drepturile omului, sunt stocate în sala de lectură Ştiinţe socioumane (bloc I, birou 2) a Bibliotecii Centrale a Universității de Stat din Moldova și sunt accesibile membrilor interesați ai comunității academice, profesori și studenți, potrivit usm. Pe această cale dorim să mulțumim partenerului nostru Educational Centre pentru sprijinul acordat și colaboratorilor Bibliotecii Centrale pentru implicare. Universitatea de Stat din Moldova reamintește că în legătură cu marcarea la 10 decembrie a Zilei Internaționale a Drepturilor Omului sunt și vor fi în continuare anunțate mai multe inițiative de evenimente cu caracter didactico-științific.
